Numerous Monsters In Godzilla (2014) Confirmed & Gareth Edwards Hypes SDCC

9264 Gareth Edwards has a pre-Comic-Con message for all the Godzilla fans, and that is something big is coming to the SDCC.

Edwards shot the following video from the set of Godzilla, which also includes a link to the viral website GodzillaEncounter.com, which has updated with a new teaser (below).

We've also seen Godzilla make its mark in San Diego, preparing for its big Comic-Con debut, in the form of a damaged building.

Godzilla will be a part of the Warner Bros. and Legendary panel Saturday, July 20th at the SDCC, most likely giving us our first look at the legendary creature. The description reveals that the movie will indeed feature numerous monsters, and that Godzilla will be taking them head on.

Legendary Pictures: Godzilla — An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher are the executive producers, alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira. The film is from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures. 

Godzilla opens May 16, 2014 in 3D starring Aaron Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, and Bryan Cranston.
