Now James Gunn Posts Nic Klein Star-Lord Guardians of the Galaxy Image

4126 While it could be pure coincidence, we like to think it's not.

Earlier, Guardians of the Galaxy movie director James Gunn favorited a tweet that mentioned keeping the Giffen-DnA costumes for the new movie.

New Guardians of the Galaxy comic book artist Steve McNiven said he's changing their costumes, changing Star-Lord's helmet, and that the WWI inspired costumes don't work for space adventures, though he admitted he's never read or worked on Marvel Cosmic before.

Now, we see that James Gunn posted the following cover to Annihilation: Conquest Star-Lord #1 by artist Nic Klein on Facebook (below).

Looks like Gunn is doing some homework.

Annihilation Conquest: Star-Lord #1

Annihilation: Conquest continues here - - with the war book that brings back cosmic cult faves from throughout the decades!
