Now Bendis and Marvel False Advertise Captain Ms. Marvel In Guardians of the Galaxy #15

Body

15581

If you happen to read Bendis' Garbage of the Galaxy, last month's final page saw Captain Ms. Marvel, with it suggested she would appear in the next issue.

The cover of the next issue, Garbage of the Galaxy #15, features Captain Ms. Marvel and the solicit even states Carol Danvers is appearing and joining the team:

With the entire galaxy gunning for the Guardians and Peter Quill missing, its time to bring in a little help. Captain Marvel JOINS the Guardians of the Galaxy! ? But where in the universe is Star-Lord? And what does his disappearance mean for the safety of earth?

The cover even reads "And now..."

However, Captain Ms. Marvel doesn't appear nor is mentioned in the issue, which is out this week.

Bendis' excuse to being questioned on it?

It's nothing new to have a misleading cover.

Check with your retailer, the issue might be returnable as what was advertised is not contained in the actual product.
