It was recently learned that Joss Whedon will be going for a different origin for The Avengers 2 movie villain, Ultron, with no Hank Pym.

It's heavily speculated that Iron Man will be the creator of the sentient evil robot.

Now we learn that, likewise, Ultron will not be a part of the Ant-Man movie, which is set to feature Hank Pym.

The Awesome Fest recently took place in Philadelphia where ScienceFiction.com was on hand to cover the event which featured Edgar Wright, and they asked the director about using Ultron, if he was ever a part of the Ant-Man movie.

"I cannot really get into that, but umm… I’ll say no. No he wasn’t," Wright responded.

So we can at least scratch one possibility for the Ant-Man movie with no Ultron, so who will Pym be going up against?

The Avengers 2 assembles May 1, 2015 with Iron Man 3 on May 3, 2013, Thor: The Dark World on November 8, 2013, Captain America: Winter Soldier on April 4, 2014, the Guardians of the Galaxy movie on August 1, 2014 and Ant-Man on November 6, 2015..
