The new Marvel Cosmic features three books, and so far that looks to be it.

There is Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness' Nova, Brian Michael Bendis and Steve McNiven's Guardians of the Galaxy, and Jason Aaron and Simone Bianchi's Thanos Rising.

There's also a big rumor of a big Marvel Cosmic event on the horizon.

Marvel Cosmic was relaunched in 2005-6 by Keith Giffen with Annihilation who turned the reigns over to Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning (DnA). They were onboard from the get go writing the Annihilation: Nova mini series. From there, they took on Richard Rider and Nova, Annihilation: Conquest, Guardians of the Galaxy, War of Kings, DarkhawkRealm of Kings, the Thanos Imperative and Annihilators.

With the resurgence of Marvel Cosmic under the direction of the big guns at Marvel, will DnA be a part of the new cosmic?

A fan asked the editor on the new stuff, Stephen Wacker, just that.

Sorry, DnA fans, doesn't seem like anything is in the cards.

2) Whilst it is obviously not a simple matter, but it does look like from the outside that Marvel are basing their GOTG film on the stuff that DnA did. Any chance of more DnA cosmic stuff? There is a lot of love for their stuff.

Stephen Wacker: 2-No plans beyond the 3 announced books right now.
