No James Earl Jones Darth Vader For New Star Wars

If Disney happens to bring back Darth Vader in some capacity (say for instance in the standalone films that are said to be set in the past), it won't be with the voice of James Earl Jones.

Variety asked James Earl Jones if he is going to be involved in any of the new Star Wars with the actor replying in the negative.

Oh no. I’ve got no illusions that I will or even hankerings to be in them, but I’m very proud to have been part of the original.

He did add he might go see them, though.

Perhaps. I have no idea where they’ll go with it, but I hope they sustain the success of the first ones and do it well.

James Earl Jones last voiced Darth Vader in Episode III with the infamous "Noooooo."
