New Superior Spider-Man Is A Rapist?

Body

Spoilers follow.

Doc Ock has taken over the body of Peter Parker.

He knowingly deceived and switched bodies with Parker who seemingly perished in Amazing Spider-Man #700.

Doc Ock also has access to all of Spider-Man's memories, which is how he can become the new Superior Spider-Man without anybody catching on.

Well, in the latest issues of Amazing Spider-Man, Mary Jane and Peter (Doc Ock) end up in a sexual encounter.

Of course, MJ believes it to be Peter Parker, but Doc Ock knows that he is not.

Rape?

Marvel Editor Stephen Wacker (via Twitter) doesn't seem to think so.

It was Pete and MJ drama is at the heart of the book. But to jump to cries of rape is silly and diminishes the topic.

Decide for yourself:

Oh, you should also know that Marvel plans on making Doc Ock a good guy as Wacker has also compared Superior Spider-Man to Batman.
