New Star Wars: Episode VII Set Pics; Said To Use Less CGI

New Star Wars: Episode VII set images have surfaced out of the Abu Dhabi desert.

TMZ got their hands on a bunch, and the good news is that they are stating Star Wars will use less CGI and more practical effects.

It's said one alien creature was used in a Tatooine marketplace scene that required five people to work it.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" has a December 18, 2015 release.

Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by LawrenceKasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, DomhnallGleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.
