New Jurassic World Plot Details
We learn the basic plot about Jurassic World from director Colin Trevorrow, who offered the following details in the latest issue of Total Film Magazine.
Trevorrow teases: "What if, despite previous disasters, they built a new biological preserve where you could see dinosaurs walk the earth? And what if people were already, kind of, over it?"
It's stated that is the starting point for Jurassic World, which will feature a "luxury resort" where people can get up-close with dinosaurs, but the problem is people are bored. One scene even describes a young teenager more involved with texting than with a T-Rex.
So it is decided by the suits in charge to create a new dinosaur that will entice the people - a new genetically modified uber-beast.
"This creation exists to fulfill a corporate mandate," Trevorrow said. "They want something bigger, louder, with more teeth. And that's what they get."
It's further stated that this new hybrid is likely to be bad news for co-star Chris Pratt (also starring in this Summer's Guardians of the Galaxy), as it's said there are rumors on-set of Pratt spending 15 minutes inside an animatronic's jaws.
"Jurassic World" has a June 12, 2015 release directed by Colin Trevorrow also starring Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus and Andy Buckley.
