New Hobbit Trailer Coming Wednesday Announces Peter Jackson

We recently saw a bunch of new images for The Hobbit appear recently from the new App, and with that mention was made of a new trailer.

Now we learn in a video message from Peter Jackson that the new trailer will debut - as expected - during "Hobbit Week," this coming Wednesday.

Tolkien Week marks the 75th anniversary of the publication of The Hobbit, and Peter Jackson announces that his contribution will be the new Hobbit trailer on the 19th. In addition, some special content will be shared with the fans.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters December 14th, 2012 with the sequel, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, a year later on December 13th, 2013, followed by The Hobbit: There And Back Again on July 18th, 2014.

Ian McKellen returns as Gandalf the Grey with Martin Freeman playing Bilbo Baggins.  

Also reprising their roles from “The Lord of the Rings” movies are: Cate Blanchett as Galadriel; Orlando Bloom as Legolas; Ian Holm as the elder Bilbo; Christopher Lee as Saruman; Hugo Weaving as Elrond; Elijah Wood as Frodo; and Andy Serkis as Gollum.
