New Fantastic Four Movie Has 2015 Release Date With Josh Trank

Body

4542 It's official. We have a new Fantastic Four movie from director Josh Trank.

Fox Studios has named March 6, 2015 to be the release date for the Fantastic Four reboot.

Mark Millar, consultant on the movie, recently said that the reboot will stick close to what Jack Kirby and Stan Lee did with the Fantastic Four and won't be "grim and gritty."

Fox Studios previously released two Fantastic Four movies, which starred Chris Evans who went on to play Captain America in The Avengers.

The first movie was better received than the second, "Rise of the Silver Surfer," but both still weren't up to par.

We'll have to wait and see what Fox and Trank do for the Fantastic Four reboot, but the story and casting should be improved.

Marvel Comics recently relaunched the Fantastic Four under their Marvel NOW! banner that sees Reed Richard come down with a mysterious ailment leading him and the rest of the Fantastic Four on a cosmic journey to discover the cure.

In addition, X-Men: Days of Future PastPlanet of the Apes 2 and Percy Jackson 2 will have 3D releases.

Cosmic Book News will be sure to update when more becomes available.
