More Luke Skywalker Star Wars: Episode VII Rumors

Ready for the latest batch of Star Wars: Episode VII rumors?

Remember the previous rumors that stated Luke Skywalker might be the big bad of the film? Well, these latest rumors sort of expand and spin off from those.

The good news for fans of Luke Skywalker is that he may not be evil -- at least intentionally., who was previously behind the Luke villain rumor, is now stating something slightly different.

It's now being said that Luke Skywalker goes into self exile for 30 or so years as a result of being so powerful.

Luke is said to have a "Force Unleashed" moment, which causes him to think he might be bad for the universe. It's said Luke can't always control his power, with an example given of Luke being in a meditative state with all sorts of objects levitating around him. Apparently, Luke is unsure if he is doing the will of The Force or acting out on his own passions.

According to the report, sources in the know describe Luke as more of a "wizard than a lightsaber wielding warrior," and one who is afraid of becoming his father, Darth Vader, by thinking he knows what is best for the universe.

It's said Luke is the most powerful Jedi ever, but not the wisest, and feels his powers could be manipulated into hurting his loved ones and others, which is why he goes into seclusion.

Luke is described as being deranged, fearful, and in what sounds like a crazy state of mind.

Regarding how Luke comes out of hiding, its said both the new evil of the movie and the new hero are responsible for drawing Luke out forcing him to get involved and take action.

It's not stated which side Luke chooses (or which side chooses Luke?), but it is said by the end of Star Wars: Episode VII, we'll know where Luke falls on the "spectrum of good and evil."

"Star Wars: Episode VII" has a December 18, 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.
