Some new details emerge about Paramount's Friday the 13th reboot in that David Bruckner is in negotiations to direct and that Michael Bay is on board as producer.

The Wrap reports that Bruckner, known for the "Amateur" segment in the V/H/S/ movie, is in talks for the reboot.

Joining Michael Bay as producer is Brad Fuller and Andrew Form -- all three of which produced the 2009 Friday the 13th film as well.

Plot details about the Friday the 13th reboot are sketchy as it's been said the reboot may or may not feature Jason Voorhees, and that it might be a found-footage movie.

Bruckner shot the V/H/S/ segment as a found-footage short film featuring three guys bringing some sort of demon-girl back to their hotel room.

Bruckner also was responsible for The Signal (2007) and The Talk Show (2011).

The Friday the 13th reboot has a March 13, 2015 planned release date.
