Michael Bay Responds to Fans About Teenage Mutant Alien Ninja Turtles

Body

956 Earlier, video surfaced from Nickelodeon Upfront with Michael Bay, producer on the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, stating the turtles would have an alien origin.

Well, suffice to say this wasn't well received.

Now, Bay has responded to the fans on the forums on his official site with the following:

Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world.

Michael

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is slated for a Christmas Day 2013 release.
