Michael B. Jordan Up For The Human Torch In Fantastic Four Reboot

Body

7399 We get word of a second casting possibility with Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, aka The Human Torch, for Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot.

TheWrap reports sources have filled them in that Jordan is in talks with Fox Studios which would see the actor reunite with Trank following Chronicle.

It's stated that Jordan's chances for Fantastic Four are dependent on his chemistry with the other actors.

Michael B. Jordan could follow Irdis Elba and Laurence Fishburne as African-Americans who have nabbed what has primarily been white character roles.

As we've seen with Elba and Fishburne, the color of the skin is really no concern, but it's the acting that is the primary concern.

In addition to playing a lead in Chronicle, Michael B. Jordan is known for The Wire and voices Cyborg in the upcoming Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox animated movie.

Allison Williams was just named to be in contention for Sue Storm, The Invisible Woman, as well.

Fantastic Four has a March 6, 2014 release.
