Metal Gear Solid Movie In The Works From Sony

Body

It's learned that Sony is moving forward with a live-action Metal Gear Solid movie based on the video game of the same name.

Deadline reports that the studio is in early talks with Jordan Vogt-Roberts to come aboard and direct the film.

It's stated Avi Arad is on as producer with Michael de Luca attached as well.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts is known for The Kings Of Summer.

Apparently the project has been in the works for a while as it's said Sony and Konami had to come to terms and an agreement over how the game would be presented on the big screen, which features Solid Snake.

Recently, Kiefer Sutherland voiced Solid Snake for the Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain video game.
