Sharknado continues to take the internet by storm as the latest has it that Matt Damon may cameo in the sequel.

Ian Ziering was on hand to attend the premiere, playing the lead with Fin Shepard in the b-budget flick, and mentioned Matt Damon's possible future involvement.

"I think there’s going to be a lot of cameo deaths. There are a lot of people who’ve expressed interest in Sharknado [2]," Ziering told ETOnline. "I heard Matt Damon talking about wanting to be in it. Let me tell you something right now, Matt, if you’re coming for my job, I will cut you. Step off."

Sharknado 2 has been announced to be taking place in NYC and looks to begin filming next year.

The Regal screening of Sharknado brought in an estimated $200,000 for the film in its one-time midnight showing. The third TV viewing of Sharknado on SyFy saw an all-time viewership high with 2.1 million viewers.
