Marvel's Green Lantern: Alpha?!

Body

A cover on Facebook caught my eye as it showed the new Superior Spider-Man side by side a Green Lantern.

Of course I took a second look at it and it's not a GL member, but it's Spidey's new protege, Alpha.

Turns out Alpha is the new protege to Doc Ock as Midtown Comics let it be known:

We have learned from a reliable source within Marvel that Alpha becomes Superior Spider-Man's protege and Superior Spider-Man is very much a key character in new Alpha mini-series by Joshua Hale Fialkov and Nuno Plati

I missed the Alpha Amazing Spider-Man issues, but the character is "cosmic." Any good?

Issue hits February 13th.

Here's what Wiki says:

Due to his exposure to the Parker Particles, Andy is now capable of continually recharging massive amounts of cosmic energy, which he can release in the form of energy blasts, super strength, super speed, force fields, and flight. As of yet however, he's only able to manifest one of his abilities at at time instead of all at once.
