Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Sees Worst Ratings Ever

Body

Bill Paxton couldn't save Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. as last night's episode, "T.A.H.I.T.I," saw the show's worst ratings ever.

5.46 million people tuned in last night, which is down 1.16 million people from the previous episode.

The episode also netted a 1.8 in the coveted 18-49 demographic - down from a 2.2 from the previous episode. The 1.8 also marks a series low.

It will be interesting to see what happens next week as Jaimie Alexander from the Marvel Studios Thor movies is set to guest star as Sif.

It's possible the extended break could have affected the ratings as S.H.I.E.L.D. took a month off.

Below is the ratings chart where you can follow the show's drop from its high of 12 million viewers for the premiere episode.
