ABC's Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to lose viewers as last night's episode 5 lost another half million viewers compared to the previous week.

S.H.I.E.L.D. had 7.1 million viewers and a 2.6 rating among the coveted adult 18-49 demographic rating at 8pm last night.

The previous week saw 7.6 million viewers and a 2.8.

So far, S.H.I.E.L.D. has lost close to 5 million viewers since the pilot aired with 11.9 million, which was the best debut for any network show in four years.

The first two episodes weren't all that good with fans letting their reactions be known on various social networks and web sites. The good thing, however, is that the next few episodes have really picked up in regards to story, acting, action and excitement.

While it's not time to panic, and ABC has ordered a full 22-episode season for S.H.I.E.L.D., EW notes that usually by now new series either stabilize or tend to see an increase in ratings as a lot of the show's did last night did.
