Marvel Publishing 'Quasar Classic Vol. 1' In March

Body

picGood news, Quasar fans!

Amazon.com has a listing for Quasar Classic - Volume 1 which collects Quasar #1-9, material From Avengers Annual #18, and Marvel Comics Presents (1988) #29.

Update: I should add this has not been confirmed by Marvel (yet!).

Quasar Classic - Volume 1 is currently available for pre-order with a March 7, 2012 release date.

Awesome news!

At times, when Marvel starts to release reprints/trades for said character, that usually means the character is going to get more exposure in the coming months. Is that the case here?

Right around the corner from March, is premiere of The Avengers movie on May 4th, and with "Aliens" involved, in addition to S.H.I.E.L.D., could we be seeing the big screen debut of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Wendell Vaughn? There has been rumor of Vaughn appearing in the movie.

I do hope at some point, Marvel collects "Cosmos In Collision," which, so far, has only been collected in Spanish trade.
