Marvel is holding a press conference call on the new Venom series from Rick Remender and Tony Moore.

Well, Marvel Editor Stephen Wacker let it be known that Flash Thompson is the one to be joined with the Venom symbiote.

Spidey villains will be appearing such as Kraven and Jack-O-Lantern.

There will be really cool dynamic between Thompson (who has no legs) and the symbiote. Flash will not be allowed to wear it for long to stop the bonding process. Also, Flash will have to keep it cool - as he is one to fly off the handle - because the symbiote feeds off of anger.

The series is said to have an espionage/militaristic feel to it.

This begins in this month's Amazing Spider-Man #654.1.

Head on to CBR for more.
