Mark Ruffalo on The Avengers (2012): Mother Of All Comic Book Movies


picMark Ruffalo promoting his directorial debut with, Sympathy Delicious, was asked about the upcoming The Avengers movie, where he plays Dr. Bruce Banner aka the Hulk.

Ruffalo stated he thinks its going to be a lot of fun and "pretty gutsy."

The actor filled us in that there is going to be a lot of humor and complimented the cast.

"I have a feeling people are going to have a really good time." said Ruffalo. "It's the mother of all comic book movies."

On preparing for the role, Ruffalo said he has lost some weight "15lbs," that he has been working a lot on the psychology aspects, and that he hopes to bring something to the role that we haven't seen previously.

The Avengers hits May 4th, 2012 and is directed by Joss Whedon, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Samule L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
