Kicking off the Image Comics Millarworld Universe this March is the six issue mini-series, Starlight, written by Mark Millar with art by Punisher artist Goran Parlov.
Starlight is described as Flash Gordon-meets-The Dark Knight by Millar (via THR): "...centering on a space hero who saved the universe 35 years ago but came back to Earth, where no one believed his fantastic stories. He settled down, got married, had kids and got old. And then...?"
With the writer adding, "And then that old, sparky, Buster Crabbe-era rocket ship comes back and needs him for one last adventure," Millar said. "It's Buzz Lightyear meets Unforgiven I guess and I've been motoring through it for months, really having a good time with it."
Starlight will be followed by MPH in May, described as "a Detroit-set story about teens who discover a drug that gives them super speed."
