Mark Gruenwald on Discovery Channel's The Will: Outrageous Final Wishes

Thanks to Bleeding Cool for this find.

Mark Gruenwald will be showcased on the Discovery Channel TV show, "The Will: Outrageous Final Wishes" which airs tomorrow, January 12th at 9pm Eastern.

"Gru," as he is known among the comic book crowd, wanted his remains to rest within a comic book. His ashes were mixed with the ink for the trade to Squadron Supreme.

Mark Gruenwald was an editor and writer at Marvel Comics, penning titles such as Captain America and also on of my fav's - Quasar.

Star Trek creator, Gene Roddenberry, is also a part of this one as he wanted his ashes to be thrown into space.

So set your DVR's to "Investigation Discovery: The Will: Outrageous Final Wishes" for January 12th at 9pm Eastern!

Here is the synopsis followed by the preview:

When most people die, they choose to go the same way: a traditional funeral and burial. But for some, death is an opportunity to make a big statement. On this special episode of The Will, we'll highlight those who made very outrageous final wishes!
