Man of Steel Will Have Incredible Action; Superman Punches Someone In The Face

Body

6713 We are about two months away from one of this Summer's most anticipated films with the Man of Steel.

A new Man of Steel TV Spot debuted late last night, and now the CEO of Legendary Entertainment, Thomas Tull, offers some thoughts and hints on the new Superman movie starring Henry Cavill.

Legendary Entertainment produced and co-financed both the Man of Steel and the Batman films with Warner Bros.

Thomas Tull, a known comic book enthusiast, spoke to the Collider about the Man of Steel, promising it's going to be incredible.

It’s the Superman movie I’ve always wanted to see. I think the job that Zack Snyder did along with Chris Nolan- I think that people are going to be very, very excited about the results. The acting, on top of all the incredible action- Kevin Costner playing Jonathan Kent, Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, just the cast, and I think the job Henry Cavill did, people are going to really be excited about it. It was a privilege to be a part of and Warner Brothers does a phenomenal job of bringing these things to life, Batman and Superman, and it really is a privilege for us to be a part of.

So how much incredible action will we get to see? While Thomas Tull doesn't offer any spoilers, he does hint that Superman will punch someone in the face, when questioned how it was lacking in Returns and if we'll get that with Zack Snyder.

[Pauses] I can tell you that I think you’re going to enjoy the movie very, very much.

Speaking of super action, while the trailers really didn't reveal much, previous Man of Steel set images suggested that Superman will be fighting Zod and his band of Kryptonians.

Here are a few to give you an idea:
