Make Way For Chaos War! Kills off Nova and Star-Lord!

Body

On Tuesday the news hit that Avengers scribe Brian Bendis will be creating a new cosmic character - that you won't want to miss. Today comes news of Chaos War - the current Marvel Cosmic event that sees the Incredible Hercules taking on the Chaos King. CW writers Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente let us in on the behind the scenes happenings that led to the event that saw nineteen tie-in issues - or so. Turns out Chaos War was supposed to be the second arc of a new Herc ongoing that was to relaunch during the "Heroic Age," but the powers that be decided to give that its own book (and more). The first arc ended up being the Prince of Power mini. Van Lente also says that the eight page Herc story from CW#1 was originally meant for the April 2010 issue of Enter The Heroic Age. Is this why Nova and GoTG were canceled? RELATED: Incredible Hercules Ends With Chaos War
