Mackenzie Gray Hints He Is Playing A Something In Man of Steel Again; Not A Someone?
Actually his involvment only recently became known and it's quite an enigma.
It's been rumored that Mackenzie Gray is playing Lex Luthor in the new Superman movie, and we've already seen LexCorps in the latest trailer.
However, video surfaced previously where Gray seemed to be stating he would be playing a something not a someone.
I can’t say what I’m playing. I’m allowed to say I’m in the movie. That’s it.
Notice: "what I'm playing."
Now the latest has Mackenzie Gray choosing his words carefully again as the actor tells JTMGames the following.
I’m not allowed to say what I’m playing as, it’s a big secret so I’ll keep that one to myself.
Notice: "what I'm playing as."
Gray's seems to be not stating the obvious: Who I am playing?
Of course, Lex Luthor being a fictional character could still be considered a "what," but the wording still seems odd -- as well as intentional.
Guess we'll find out in about a month's time.
Man of Steel opens June 14th in IMAX 3D directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Michael Shannon as Zod.
