If you want to see what "could have been" with Kevin Spacey as potentially a great Lex Luthor, watch the Netflix series House of Cards.

Great show.

Spacey portrayed Lex Luthor in the Bryan Singer Superman Returns movie, which was more of a homage to the Gene Hackman version.

More than likely new Lex Luthor Jesse Eisenberg won't go near that, but Kevin Spacey does have some words for the newcomer.

Talking with Empire Online, Kevin Spacey is asked about Eisenberg with the actor responding:

First of all, I think [Jesse Eisenberg] is a remarkable actor. He's just going to f-cking own it. I think it's a great idea and I wish him the best with it.

House of Cards currently has two seasons available on Netflix to view in their entirety with season 3 greenlit as well.

"Batman Vs Superman" has a newly announced May 6, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
