Kevin Smith Rumored To Have Written Batman Vs. Superman Fake Script
It's currently rumored that Kevin Smith might actually be behind rumors surrounding Batman Vs. Superman as it's being rumored Smith wrote a fake script to throw people off of what Zack Snyder is really doing with the movie.
The most recent rumors for Batman Vs. Superman are stating four new characters/villains will be in the film, in addition to Lex Luthor, with: Victor Zsasz, Morgan Edge, David Cain and Amanda Waller. It's also said no Joker and Metallo.
It's also rumored that the film will feature new characters/superheroes, in addition to Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman with: Jason Todd, Kyle Rayner, Carrie Kelley and possibly Ted Kord.
The sources of the rumors mentioned a leaked pdf of a script.
Now, Movie Web is stating they have been tipped off that it's all a ruse put on by Warner Bros. to mislead websites.
It's said Kevin Smith came up with an idea to write a script that included fake info:
Late last year both Charles Roven and Zack Snyder approached Kevin Smith with a early treatment for the film and It was Kevin Smith who came up with the idea to write an entire screenplay based on it but with several huge red herrings and changes which do not appear in the final film. These include plot points and characters etc etc. and 'leak' it online.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a newly announced May 6, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
