Karen Gillan & Katee Sackhoff's Horror Film "Oculus" To Debut At Toronto Film Festival
Karen Gillan and Katee Sackhoff star in a new indie horror film, Oculus, which is set to debut at the Toronto Film Festival on September 8th, 10th and the 15th.
Oculus comes from Mike Flanagan and is based on his 2006 award-winning short film (check out the teaser trailer for that below) about a mysterious 300-year-old mirror seemingly responsible for the cause of terrible events.
Karen Gillan plays the lead, Kaylie, who is convinced the 300-year-old mirror is responsible for her parents' murder. Katee Sackoff plays Marie Russell, and is presently starring in Riddick with Vin Diesel.
Gillan was recently named as a member of the Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy movie cast, playing the villain Nebula, where the actress shocked the world by revealing her new bald look at Comic-Con. Guardians of the Galaxy has an August 1, 2014 release.
