Justice League Movie In The Works; Being Written By Will Beall

Body

picWarner Bros. has apparently hired Will Beall to pen the Justice League Movie.

Variety has it that Warner Bros. has been planning a Justice League Movie in anticipation that The Avengers movie would do well, rather than in response to The Avengers movie's success.

Beall, who has yet to turn in a Justice League Movie script according to Variety, is also writing the reboot of Lethal Weapon and remake of Logan's Run, in addition to the upcoming Gangster Squad.

Back in November of 2011, we were told that early Justice League Movie talks involved David Goyer and Geoff Johns, as well as the desire for The Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan's involvement. New Superman Henry Cavill and Batman Christian Bale were said not to be a part. Regarding Henry Cavill, Man of Steel director Zack Snyder has previously said that his Superman movie[s] would be a stand alone — not involved in a wider Universe.

Update: Man of Steel Movie To Spearhead New Shared DC Universe.

As the Justice League Movie is in early development, it seems as if Warner Bros. would use that to reboot its super hero universe, than say do what Marvel Studios has done with developing smaller movies leading up to a big finish, which has certainly seemed the formula for success.
