Joseph Gordon-Levitt & David Goyer Sandman Movie Gets A Writer

The Sandman movie now has a writer attached with Jack Thorne.

According to Deadline, Jack Thorne will be writing the Sandman screenplay based on what David S. Goyer originally pitched.

Goyer and Joseph Gordon-Levitt with serve as producers with it also said that it's hoped Gordon-Levitt will both star in and direct the Sandman movie.

Sandman is based on the Neil Gaiman DC Comics Vertigo comic book that follows the adventures of Morpheus, Lord of the world of Dreams, but gets captured for 70 years. After escaping and getting revenge, Morpheus rebuilds his kingdom and adapts to the times.
