J.J. Abrams Doesn't Say No To Benedict Cumberbatch In Star Wars

Benedict Cumberbatch is currently rumored for Star Wars: Episode VII where the actor has seemingly denied the suggestion.

Now a reporter for the LA Times caught up with J.J. Abrams asking the director about casting for the movie as well as Cumberbatch.

Interestingly enough, Abrams doesn't specifically say no to Benedict Cumberbatch in Star Wars.

"We're working our asses off trying to get things in place w/ casting," Abrams said, Yvonne Villarreal tweeted a couple of days ago. And regarding Benedict Cumberbatch, Abrams only offered, "I love that guy."

Benedict Cumberbatch is rumored to be a Sith Lord in Star Wars: Episode VII with the latest rumors even stating he may have roles in the coming sequels episodes VIII and IX, as well. It's speculated if the rumor us true, Cumberbatch could be playing the disciple of Palpatine, which Cosmic Book News first told you about back in March.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" has a 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams.
