If you are a fan of Marvel Comics writer Jim Starlin, or have been following his Facebook page, you know Starlin doesn't pull any punches - when it comes to anything.

Starlin reguarly calls people out on his page, such as his relationships with Marvel regarding Thanos and Adam Warlock.

Well, Starlin was invited to the Guardians of the Galaxy world premiere and said it might just be the best Marvel movie yet.

In turn, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn had some kind words to say about Starlin.

Both stories have been picked up by various websites, with Yahoo apparently questioning Starlin's loyalties.

Starlin took to his Facebook page to offer the following:

Greg Wakeman writes on Yahoo, "Let's hope that Starlin's kind words (about the Guardians of the Galaxy) are genuine and aren't just an attempt to stay in Marvel's good books now that he is working on various comic-book projects for them." Yeah, right, I'm well known for being a real kiss-a** when dealing with Marvel. Just couldn't genuinely like the movie now, could I?

Here's my own response to Yahoo:
