Jason Momoa Still Mum About Aquaman; Excited For Batman Vs. Superman
It's also been said Warner Bros. is moving forward with an Aquaman movie with Justice League writer Will Beall attached or possibly Zack Snyder's 300 writer, Kurt Johnstad.
Now EW.com caught up with Momoa and asked if he could confirm the role; however, Jason Momoa's lips are still sealed. He did however, offer a small tease:
Well, I’m really excited for it [Batman vs. Superman] to come out in 2016, I’ll tell you that much. I’m really excited to see what is happening in that world.
Jason Momoa also released images and video of himself training at the facility that also happened to have new Wonder Woman Gal Gadot training with Henry Cavill's trainer.
Regarding Aquaman, many fans online are speculating that Aquaman comes to the world of man as a result of Zod's World Engine that was featured in Man of Steel. It's thought the World Engine may have damaged the Earth's oceans.
Another possibility is that Aquaman was already aware of Superman, with some online thinking the oil rig scene with the whales was Aquaman sending help. You can watch that scene here.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
