Jason Momoa Confirmed As Aquaman (2018)
After many months of speculation and teases, Warner Bros. has confirmed that Jason Momoa will play Aquaman in his own movie set for a 2018 release date.
Jason Momoa might appear in Batman Vs. Superman as well, as it is currently rumored the Leaguers will appear near the end of the movie leading into "Justice League Part 1."
One theory on how Aquaman and Jason Momoa will be introduced into the Justice League movie universe is that as a result of the events that went down in the Man of Steel movie, with the World Engine possibly polluting and/or devastating the world's oceans, Aquaman rises out of the depths seeking answers.
It's also been speculated that Aquaman is responsible for sending the whales to check on the oil rig disaster in Man of Steel where they found Clark Kent under water. It's even possible that Aquaman might be well aware of Superman as the movie showed Clark coming out of the water, and not what actually took place in the ocean upon Clark's awakening.
Still another possibility, is that similar to Batman, Aquaman has always existed.
Jason Momoa's latest movie is Wolves, which hits November 14th, and you can watch the trailer below.
