Jamie Foxx will be the new villain in Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man 2, electrifying audiences as Electro.

It just so happens that Foxx's 4-year-old daughter is a huge Spider-Man fan who had a recent Spider-Man themed birthday party.

While Foxx didn't inform her back then about the role as he was still just in talks, now he can. And how does he spill the beans? By taking his daughter on a set visit.

"[She] dressed as Spider-Man for Halloween and had a Spider-Man jumper. Yesterday, I took her to the set, she didn’t know [that I had been cast], and she says, ‘What is this?’ I said, ‘Daddy’s going to be in ‘Spiderman.’

She says, ‘Is Spider-Man going to beat you up?’ and I said, ‘I don’t know.” She says, ‘Good,’” Foxx informed Access Hollywood at the Django Unchained premiere party.

Foxx also commented on his experience with Electro and the "Amazing Spider-Man 2" as well.

"It’s an amazing ride. So, it’s humbling and just a lot of fun," he said.

The "Amazing Spider-Man 2" swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Spider-Man, Emma Stone reprises as Gwen Stacy, Shailene Woodley plays Mary Jane, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn, and Martin Sheen will be back as Uncle Ben.
