Iron Man 3 Gets A Super Bowl Trailer
For some, the best part of the Super Bowl is watching the commercials and not the game itself.
This year will see around six trailers debut for various movies including Disney with new footage for Iron Man 3.
It's said (via CS) there will be a 60 second spot for Iron Man 3, a 90 second spot for The Lone Ranger, as well as 30 second spots for Brad Pitt's World War Z, Fast and Furious 6, and J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness, with still another for Sam Raimi's Oz The Great And Powerful.
Paramount has also launched a new App for Star Trek Into Darkness that can be used during the Super Bowl and is said to unlock various related things.
The Super Bowl ads cost around $4 million per 30 second spot. Last year saw a record audience with 111.3 million viewers.
Warner Bros. will be skipping out this year with no Man of Steel trailer, which they did last year with nothing for The Dark Knight Rises.
Target will also be skipping out and had decided to go with an App-based game promotion instead.
Super Bowl XLVII airs Sunday February 3rd pitting the Baltimore Ravens against the San Francisco 49ers.
