Depending how you feel about Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, this could either be good news or bad news.

It's been thrown around for some time that we might be seeing an "Indiana Jones 5."

However, the latest has producer Frank Marshall stating that it doesn't seem likely.

Marshall spoke with The Collider who offers the following update.

I say, for me, [Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is] the last hurrah.  I know that yes, we talk about it, but there’s no idea, there’s no MacGuffin.

And with George Lucas recently retiring to do his own thing — namely making experimental movies in his garage, Marshall also adds that Lucas really has no interest.

Yeah, no he isn’t [hungry to do another Indiana Jones].  And he’s obviously passing the baton to my wife, so.

So there we have it, no "MacGuffin" (meaning no plot device i.e. arc, stone, cup, skull) and no interest from Lucas — equals no Indiana Jones 5.
