Hulk TV Series Getting Pilot Re-Write Says Guillermo Del Toro (Video)

Body

The Green Goliath is set to smash his way on to ABC - some time - by Pacific Rim director Guillermo Del Toro.

The Hulk TV series is still on, which reportedly will not be connected to The Avengers movie or the Marvel Studios Universe.

MTV caught up with Guillermo Del Toro who gives us an update from Comic-Con, with Del Toro mentioning the Hulk TV series pilot is getting a re-write.

"I have had a couple of minutes with Marvel since 'Avengers,' and they have the screenplay," Del Toro told MTV. "We're waiting for a particular writer to do a rewrite on the pilot. That's where we are right now. But we're still on."

It would be interesting if the re-write had them keeping the same Hulk from The Avengers, seeing how that version of the Hulk went over so well. Obviously, Mark Ruffalo wouldn't be a part, but it could still work.

The director also stated he was a big fan of The Avengers movie.
