Hugh Jackman Not Sure About Doing The Wolverine Sequel & X-Men: Apocalypse

I'm guessing Hugh Jackman is currently in talks to extend his run at portraying Wolverine for another two movies as The Wolverine sequel and the just announced X-Men: Apocalypse movie are in developement (a third movie is also possible with X-Force).

More than likely if he isn't going to do one, he isn't going to do the other as filming on both will most likely be similar to how filming commenced with The Wolverine and X-Men: Days Of Future past, which were basically back to back.

Jackman recently answered questions about The Wolverine sequel (via Vanity Fair), which also sees director James Mangold return. Jackman let it be known a script hasn't even been completed for The Wolverine sequel, but talks are underway.

I don’t know whether or not I will do this next movie. I am really proud of this movie and I am excited to develop something with Jim Mangold from the beginning because that is a great ride. That’s exciting, to see what we come up with but I have a very high expectation of what it would need to be [for me to star in it] and if it doesn’t reach those, I won’t be doing it.

No there is not [a script] but Jim Mangold and I were literally on the phone last night talking about ideas but there is no script and no writer yet so it’s a way off.

Jackman has been playing Wolverine for 13 years, is it time to pass the torch?
