Guillermo Del Toro Says No To Justice League Dark Movie Rumors

Body

Update: Someone got their facts mixed up. Guillermo Del Toro never did deny the rumor.

3798 Yesterday news surfaced that Pacific Rim director Guillermo Del Toro was given the keys to the DC "dark" Universe with "Heaven Sent," a movie featuring the "Justice League" of DC Comics supernatural heroes.

Latino Review said that because Warner Bros. liked Pacific Rim so much, they were going ahead with Guillermo Del Toro's "Heaven Sent" movie.

However, the rumor appears to be false as Guillermo Del Toro was asked (via IndieWire) if it was true and said, "There is no truth to it at all."

Guillermo Del Toro previously said in regards to a Swamp Thing movie that it's up to the studios, so at least for now, it seems as if this is a no go.

Still, could have been pretty cool as it was said to star Deadman, The Spectre, Swamp Thing, Constantine Hellblazer, Phantom Stranger, Zatanna, Zatara, and Sargon as well as Etrigan the Demon.
