Guardians of the Galaxy: "a team-based film from the start" Says Kevin Feige
Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige recently spoke about the upcoming The Avengers movie Blu-Ray that gets released next week.
Kevin Feige is asked about the difference between Marvel Studios and how DC might do the Justice League movie, when he mentions the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
There's no rule that say you have to do it one way or the other, though I believe that what was unique about 'Avengers' was not that it was a group of superheroes, but a group of superheroes you knew and loved from other [films] all coming together," he said. "It wasn't like 'X-Men,' which is inherently a team-based film, or 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' which we're working on right now and is also a team-based film from the start. It was all of these people from other stories coming in and merging for one story. That's what was cool to me about 'Super Friends' when I was a kid and that's why I wanted to do 'Avengers' the way we did it.
If the Guardians of the Galaxy movie is exactly as Kevin Feige states - that the Guardians are together from the very start of the movie - I assume we'll see some of their origins through flashbacks.
If that's the case, I would expect a lot of action, especially when we just found out Thanos will be involved.
