Guardians of the Galaxy Post-Credit High-Res Image Officially Released

Body

In what is probably the most disappointing scene of the entire movie, Marvel has now officially released an image of the Guardians of the Galaxy post-credit scene featuring Howard The Duck.

I saw Guardians of the Galaxy in its Thursday night IMAX 3D debut, and while the crowd laughed and cheered throughout the entire film, there was a "WTF" moment from the crowd when this was shown.

It wasn't so much that they haven't heard of Howard The Duck, it's that they have come to expect a tie-in post-credit scene similar to the other Marvel movies.

Perhaps there is more to this scene than meets the eye as wasn't the cocoon (From Thor 2 post-credit scene) shown opened?
