Guardians of the Galaxy Movie Rumored Released In 2014; Based On DnA's Thanos Imperative and Nova?

Body

2100 Well, we do know a Guardians of the Galaxy movie is in the works, and now we may have a release date.

Latino Review has it that the movie is slated to debut in 2014, and that it will be a lead in to The Avengers 2 in 2015.

They also state we'll get the official announcement at the San Diego Comic Con, that Thanos is in it and the "script is incredible."

They also sorta suggest the movie might be based on Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning's The Thanos Imperative, and Nova is mentioned as well.

It will be interesting to see if Marvel Studios includes the Marvel Cosmic heavyweights that were featured in in TI, "The Galaxy's Mightiest Heroes."

Obviously the Silver Surfer wouldn't be present (Fox owns the rights), but with the mention of Nova — maybe Quasar, Beta Ray Bill, Ronan and Gladiator could show.

Wonder if we'll see a first appearance of Bill in Thor 2 as even more of a set up?

Regardless if the rumor is correct or not (Latino Review also said something about a Black Panther movie which was debunked), it's is most likely a sure bet that the Guardians of the Galaxy will be the answer to the threat of Thanos, as teased in the mid-credit scene in The Avengers movie.

Also, it will be interesting to see which characters Marvel Studios selects to make up the Guardians, which may even include Adam Warlock.

Epic sounding, to say the least.
