Guardians of the Galaxy Movie Gets Lee Pace As Main Villain
It's being reported that Lee Pace, who was actually said to be up for the lead role of Peter Quill Star-Lord, will be the main Guardians of the Galaxy movie villain.
TheWrap says the identity of the villain is unknown and that Marvel Studios kept him in mind after Chris Pratt was cast as Star-Lord, for the movie villain.
Lee Pace is known for The Hobbit Trilogy, Lincoln, Twilight, Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls.
Along with Pratt, Lee Pace joins the Guardians of the Galaxy cast with Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Michael Rooker as Yondu and Ophelia Lovibond in an unknown role said to aid The Collector.
Filming is set to begin in London this June so announcements for Rocket Raccoon and Groot should be forthcoming.
The Guardians of the Galaxy movie has an August 1, 2014 release date.
