Guardians of the Galaxy Director James Gunn Taking Heat For A Sense Of Humor

Body

4319 Oh, boy.

Now what did James do this time?

Well, back in 2011 with the launch of his spoof black comedy movie, Super, James Gunn wrote up a post on his site, "The 50 Superheroes You Most Want to Have Sex With: 2nd Annual Poll Results!" and included a bunch of tongue-in-cheek comments.

Well, maybe it wasn't the tongue that was in the cheek, but something else, which has got him into a bit of "trouble."

Of course with Gunn now attached to Disney and Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy movie, someone recently brought it up again and the liberal and feminist blogs out there are having a hairy conniption (hairy, because you know -- they don't shave).

Whoops, now I've done it.

Anyway, Gunn makes sex jokes, gay and lesbian jokes, ma and dad jokes -- all related to comic book super heroes and heroines.

All the Mary Sue's of the world are complaining and making comments how they will never see the Guardians of the Galaxy now etc. etc. and want James Gunn's head on a silver platter, and we do know which head because they are lesbians, right?

Well, Gunn ended up taking the offending blog post down in question, but it's still available on Google cache (James, you can contact Google to have them take it down as well), but it won't matter as all the self-appointed PC police-people have already downloaded the whole thing.

Of course they mention that James is white and rich, so there's another reason it's all so wrong.

Me? I don't find it particularly offensive as it's meant to be -- a joke.
