Grant Gustin Films The Flash Next Week & Read The Script For Arrow (Video)

Body

We get a second update from Grant Gustin, the new Barry Allen and The Flash for CW's Arrow, who says he just read the script and begins filming for the character next week.

Gustin will be featured on three episodes of Arrow as Barry Allen before getting his own spinoff series for The Flash.

Gustin tells ETOnline he won't initially have his powers, and that he expects to have to put weight on for the role, which he is excited about.

The actor says growing up he was a big fan of the DC Comics, particularly Superman, and is becoming a huge fan of The Flash, as well, as the character is himself a fanboy.

Grant Gustin can definitely relate to the fanboy elements of The Flash.

Grant Gustin will appear on episodes 8,9 and 20 of Arrow.

Arrow season 2 premieres Wednesday, October 9th at 8pm ET.
