Good News: Fantastic Four Reboot Synopsis Not True

Yesterday saw an unofficial synopsis released for the Fantastic Four reboot from a casting call website that stated a vastly different origin was in the cards for the FF.

The updated origin read in part that Reed Richards and Ben Grimm would become weapons of the government before meeting Sue and Johnny. It also implied that Richards gained his genius from the event that gives him his powers.

The good news for faithful Fantastic Four followers is that the synopsis is apparently not true as director Josh Trank has taken to his Twitter to shoot the information down.

Fantastic Four has a June 19, 2015 release.
